Ideas
I’m posting this because the drone + sledgehammer levitation exploit is destroying the gameplay in Battlefield 6 right now. This is not an occasional glitch it’s present in almost every single match I play, with multiple players abusing it simultaneously (4–5 per match on average). It makes maps unplayable and destroys competitive integrity.
What happens:
Standing on top of a recon drone and repeatedly hitting it with the sledgehammer causes the player and drone to levitate upwards continuously. Players can reach extreme heights, hover over objectives, and snipe or camp from unreachable positions.
Steps to reproduce:
Deploy a recon drone.
Jump on top of it.
Equip the sledgehammer and hit the drone repeatedly.
→ Result: continuous upward levitation for the drone + player.
Why this matters:
This exploit isn’t just annoying it fundamentally breaks maps, spawn balance and objective play. Honest players are getting repeatedly steamrolled by abusers, and matches are becoming unenjoyable. This is a major gameplay exploit, not a “player report” or a minor graphics bug.
Request:
Please escalate this to Battlefield QA / the development team as an urgent issue. A hotfix or temporary mitigation (e.g. disable drone melee interactions, limit vertical movement while on drones) is required immediately.
Extremely frustrating, this should have been looked into and resolved with the first season update, along with a whole other list of bugs (crashes, green screens, random red, blue, white beans coming from the heavens above) rather than focusing primarily on the Battle Royale. Fix your game first, then introduce new modes, must've been rushed to get that store implemented, of course.
Enough is enough, get this exploit fixed before everyone ends up quiting and you fall behind because of pure greed just like 2042.
