The drone can carry friendlies to buildings inaccessible to those without a heli or jet to get to. They are having a friendly jump on it and hit the drone with a sledge hammer causing it to launch in the air repeatedly to get to buildings with no access.
had this happen on rush we couldn't even get any of the bombs since they had a bacon up there and a medic to revive them if we sniped them.
just add a kill box imo
This is something that needs hotfixing, or the sledgehammer needs to be deactivated while the issue is being addressed. It is in almost every single match now and is destroying match quality.
Please either change the shape of the collision box of the drone so that players can’t stand on it, or fix out of bounds areas for game types that don’t have aerial vehicles, or something. Manhattan Bridge and New Sobek are horrible at the moment.
Players are also sniping from the big red brick building that has zip lines on Manhattan Bridge Olympia while on defense, which I thought was out of bounds in the first sector? It has made one of the worst spawn traps for offense even more unplayable.
EA_Pulsar - Please tell me this is fixed with the upcoming 1.1.1.0 Update and just missing in the changelog. The severity of it is high and needs fixing ASAP
It’s been almost two weeks since we have been told they are looking into it. The majority of game modes are beginning to be unplayable. Any mode without helicopters are just drone glitchers.
Gonna have to put a pause on BF6 and play Delta Force if y’all can’t fix your $80 Triple A game.
Not to mention how many challenges aren’t working. What can you expect from the EA penny pinchers?

Any update on if this is going to be fixed? Breakthrough is currently a ruined game mode because a majority of maps have some rooftops that are easily exploited by doing this; many overlooking key objective points.
Still happening in cairo, also report them in game
Still happening. saw people on top of the bridge and skyscrapers on the Manhattan map in Breakthrough and Rush. They can also get on top of the first B site on breakthrough in Siege of Cairo. And of course they're all on the roof on New Sobek City.
How has this now been fixed yet, it's been happening since launch.
It would be different if the buildings that they're on could be destroyed but they can't so whoever goes up there has a huge high ground advantage over everyone else.
The drone glitch needs to patched ASAP, but you can also use the tactical ladder on some of the maps to get up which kind of makes sense, but again you either need to make the buildings destructible or stop people getting up there entirely
This needs fixed people are getting onto the bridge on maps and on top of buildings that can't be blown up to prevent them from camping up there and no way of getting them. It makes the game less fun and more trying to kill them or not be killed. Make it that if they hit it with something it explodes and drags them down again or something
