Elite Badge not able to be applied to player card

I completed all of the support specialist assignments and earned the elite badge, but it shows that I cannot apply it to my player card, when i try to add it it applies the silver one i earned a while back. Under the badge selection it says that I have one remaining assignment, even though I have completed all of the required tasks. All of the other rewards that were given when completing the assignments were given to me except for the elite badge and a grenade launcher. It has been like this for approximately five days now, restarting the game did not do anything. 

How can I fix this? It is extremely frustrating given that I have put so many hours into earning this.
