Engineer - Couldn't Melee in Redsec Quads

Playing as an Engineer in the beginning of a CA Resistance Quads match, upon landing at a hot drop in the Golf Course, my team and I enter combat. Upon knocking the first enemy, I approached the enemy and initiated a "Takedown". Upon successful performing the take down, I could no longer holster my weapon to pull out my knife for faster movement, nor could I melee attack unless I pressed the melee button a minimum of 3 times.

Pressing the melee button once, caused my character to flash his "Torch" then proceeded to pull my primary weapon out. If I pressed the melee button twice, torch would appear, then would be swapped to knife, then immediately back to my gun once the knife was equipped for less than 1 second. 

Couldn't melee attack unless I was performing a take down. Played as engineer class on Battlefield 6 - Redsec- CA Resistance - Quads - Playstation 5 on 11-26-2025.
