Engineer repair challenge not tracking

The engineer specialist #3 (repair vehicle health: 0/1000) is currently not tracking. I've spent the last two nights as engineer repairing all manners of vehicles without success in the challenge. Team mate, squad mate and even abandoned vehicles alike. None of them register.
