Engineer Specialist 2 Challenge, after the season 1 release

so this is just now happening to me on the new update for season 1 NONE OF IT IS PROGRESSING. I JUST DESTROYED 15+ aircraft like this is such bs I should be done with it  like why are you guys making the game "easier" for the challenges then ruin other ones.
