Final "Support Specialist" challenge is incompleteable

It's still relevant to this day, why hasn't this been fixed yet?

I have noticed this too. Over on Reddit folks are saying it's only counting either direct damage, as in impacting an opponent directly or in the immediate burst area. Damage over time does not seem to be tracking at all.

I hate to reply to my own reply. But here's the proof incase ANYONE at EA gives a crap.

It is still the same. I have to do 500 damage with it and I only have 24. Direct or indirect damage. Apparently I can only give 12 damage per hit…

it only counts the damage you deal with the grenade by physically hitting an enemy. if you hit somebody in the chest with the grenade it'll do about 20 dmg and count towards the progress. the fire damage does not count for some reason.

I have recorded myself at 25 meters, less than 25 meters, hitting the enemy, or making in a door where enemies run by, and nothing.

i even kill enemies with this and I only get maximum 20 damage on the challenge.

its so sad and frustrating at this point….

I got direct impacts already, recorded video on YouTube and nothing. No even 1 damage….

sometimes it progresses the challenge but I can’t seem to deal more than 12 damage per enemy…. 

it makes no sense this trophy, it should be damage with fire, granadea or this launcher. What’s the point of having a challenge to deal damage with a launcher if it doesn’t count….

Two months and this still hasn't been fixed lol. Just because they beat out COD this year doesn't mean they can just not fix things that are incredibly broken. Almost every single challenge is broken in some way.

only the damage from the impact counts, not the flame damage. very annoying but possible. all challenges completed just buggy
