I'm using both english and korean, and whenever i try to type something in in-game chat today after the patch, the game freezes. Keybinds aren't working at all, mouse is frozen too.
I tried to reboot my desktop, repair the game in ea app, disable using Unicode UTF-8 option in my keyboard settings, still didn't fix it
Only thing i can move is mouse coursor but cant click anything, same with keyboard. I can still hear everything and see everything that is in front of me, just cant move. This frustrating bug has been around for weeks. Hoped season 3 launch would have fixed it, but no...

Today update downloaded and installed.
Chat in game still not yet fixed. When I press ENTER chat "froze" and lock all mine keys on keyboard and mouse (only wheel working).
Fixed only option menu where you can configure chat position, opacity and etc.. before was complete blank.

I press enter, and I can't do anything else. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted. My only option is to close the game and open it again.
It's been an issue for months, it's a joke that this hasn't been addressed yet...
Plugging a controller in fixes this for me. This issue JUST started on the latest update 1.2.3.5 and wasn't an issue even using RTSS beforehand. Not sure what's changed.
