I'm having the same issue with a friend of mine (I'm uk and he's ireland). We've had to give up on playing the game and duos because only one of us can get into a game while other is on the squad screen. 

It's an absolute joke that this hasn't been fixed! We cannot play the game.

That seems odd if you are in different locations. My issue is specifically playing using the same IP address in the same house. Hope you get yours sorted though
