Headshot Multiplier Not Working in Firing Range
Game: Battlefield 6 (Patch 1.1.3.0) Platform: PC Game Mode: Firing Range / Practice Range Bug Type: Gameplay / Damage Calculation
- Summary of Issue
The Headshot Multiplier for all primary and secondary weapons is not applying when shooting the targets in the Firing Range. Headshots deal the exact same damage as body shots, preventing players from accurately testing weapon performance and recoil control for headshots.
- Reproduction Steps
Launch Battlefield 6.
Navigate to the main menu and select the Firing Range (or Practice Range).
Equip any firearm (e.g., Assault Rifle, SMG, Pistol).
Stand at a designated shooting position and aim at one of the static or moving targets.
Shoot the target's chest/body once or multiple times and note the damage numbers displayed.
Shoot the target's head once or multiple times and note the damage numbers displayed.
Expected Result: The damage numbers for the headshot should be higher than the damage numbers for the body shot, reflecting the active headshot multiplier.
Observed Result: The damage numbers for the headshot are identical to the damage numbers for the body shot. The headshot multiplier appears to be completely disabled or non-functional in this specific game mode.
