Helicopter controls stop responding under fire (no rockets, full health)

While flying a helicopter, the controls sometimes suddenly stop responding even though the helicopter still has full health. This issue occasionally occurs when taking gunfire – not from rockets or explosions, but from machine guns or light weapons. When it happens, you can no longer pitch, yaw, or climb. The helicopter simply drops uncontrollably. There are no damage indicators or warning sounds, and the health bar remains full.

Steps to reproduce Fly any helicopter. Take light weapon fire (not rockets or explosives). Observe: controls stop responding even though there is no damage indicator.

Expected result Helicopter controls should remain responsive under normal gunfire unless the helicopter is critically damaged.

Actual result All controls stop working and the helicopter drops, even with full health.

System PC – AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT, 32 GB DDR5 6000 MHz (CL30), ASUS B650E-E, NZXT Kraken X53, Xbox Controller.

Additional notes Not related to FPS drops or lag. Happens occasionally on any map or helicopter type.
