EVGA Drivers trip anti-cheat
On launch, I get a Security Violation notice: "EA AntiCheat has detected an incompatible driver. Please update or disable 'c:\programfiles (x86)\evga\kernel\driver-x64.sys' and restart. (119)". The only thing I can think of is that I use EVGA Precision X1 to manage my graphics card(An EVGA 2080Ti)You completely broke personal search for gamemodes
There is no King of the Hill Mode to choose. Where did it go? Squad deathmatch is gone too. You can not choose Operation Firestorm or Hagenthal Base for Domination. For Rush you can only choose Tsuru Reef as a map, none other. You cant give us a server browser for one year, and you cant programm the lobby system correctly. You are so LOL.7Views0likes0CommentsDeployable shield placement bug
The deployable shield has been extremely inconsistent with its placement since season 3 started. You used to be able to deploy it in many areas on many different surfaces. Nowadays, it's hard to tell where it can be placed because it is very consistent. You can try to go to areas that are extremely flat (like in the attached video) and it will still bug out. There was no mention of any deployable shield placement restrictions listed in any patch notes so it must be a bug. It's pretty easy to replicate this bug: Just play support with deployable shield equipped and try to deploy the shield in many areas, even flat areas. You will get "BLOCKED TERRAIN" in many locations that you used to be able to in seasons 1 and 2. Credits to Uniting for the photos and u/Barry_McCokkinher for the video in the attachments. & 2, you can place a shield here no problem, now in season 3 and 4, you cannot. Hope to see this issue resolved soon as it is very frustration when you try to place a shield for cover and it bugs out, leaving you defenseless.41Views9likes4CommentsSteam Controller randomly shoots on its own.
The Steam controller randomly shoots without any input from the user. I used the new steam controller with no issues for a week but after the most recent update it now fires my gun randomly. The controller works fine with all of my other games. It's only doing this with battlefield 6. I've tried turning off the controller to see if it stops and it does. As soon as it's reconnected it resumes the random firing. I've also tried it with other controllers with no issues. I've also disconnected all other devices to eliminate any conflicts with the same results. I believe the controller is possibly triggering the anti-cheat flagging it as cronus zen device. I'd also like to add that I'm not using any of the steam controller's extra features and I am using the default layout for the game.556Views13likes19CommentsController on PC Shoots by itself
Whether it is an infantry weapon or a vehicle weapon, the weapon will shoot continuously unprompted. This happens when using my Gamesir controller (my only controller) on pc. This would happen prior to Season 4, but with the notable exception that only a single round would be fired and only for infantry weapons. Now, with Season 4, the problem has spread to vehicle weapons also and now fires continuously. The problem does not occur when I use mouse and keyboard exclusively. My controller's firmware is up-to-date, Steam Input is enabled. I have verified the integrity of the game's files, which did not work as a solution. Please help, I cannot meaningfully play the game with this pervasive issue.95Views8likes12CommentsNew Beam-Riding / Active Radar Missile Ignores Countermeasures (Flares)
The new beam-riding/active radar missile currently equipped on the attack boats (and expected to be added to the upcoming jets) appears to be ignoring countermeasures entirely. According to the in-game description, the missile is supposed to be vulnerable to countermeasures once it has locked onto a target. However, this does not match its current in-game behavior. Current Behavior: The missile consistently tracks through flares. Deploying flares has no noticeable effect on the missile, no matter when they’re deployed. Once the missile has locked on, it almost always results in a hit regardless of countermeasure usage. In my experience, I have not successfully defeated this missile with flares a single time. A friend reported managing to flare it off once, but that appears to be extremely rare. Expected Behavior: If the missile is intended to be susceptible to countermeasures, flares should have be reliable at breaking the lock or causing the missile to miss, consistent with its description. Impact: This is a game-breaking issue for pilots. Air vehicles have already been heavily affected by the longstanding Igla issues since Season 2, which became even worse in Season 3 due to the increased initial missile speed. Now, the new missile introduced with the Tsuru Reef map is creating an even more severe problem, as it appears to ignore flares almost 100% of the time. Llease either: Fix the missile so it interacts correctly with countermeasures as described, or Temporarily remove it from the attack boats until the issue is resolved. This is having a significant negative impact on air vehicle gameplay and should be addressed as a high-priority bug. And it will becomes even more severe once the new jets come out, if it’s not fixed until then.161Views14likes14CommentsBSOD in Battlefield 6 — eaanticheat.sys driver crash
Battlefield 6 repeatedly crashes my PC to BSOD during gameplay. Bugcheck code 0x0000000A (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL). I analyzed the crash dumps in WinDbg and confirmed the fault is in eaanticheat.sys, not a third-party driver. Crash signature (consistent across all crashes): Bugcheck: 0x0000000A Faulting module: eaanticheat.sys Symbol: eaanticheat+4c1623c Failure hash: {d544cf09-4735-e698-77c3-5df5924e5448} Process: bf6.exe Troubleshooting completed, no change: RAM tested (MemTest86, passed), GPU stress tested (OCCT, passed), full clean reinstall of BF6 with manual anti-cheat service removal, Memory Integrity/VBS disabled, Windows Defender toggled off, tested without third-party peripheral software, PCIe power management set to Off, RAM at stock JEDEC (no XMP). Same crash signature every time regardless of these changes. System: ASUS Z790 Gaming WiFi, Windows 11, game via Steam This appears to be a driver-level bug in the Javelin anti-cheat, not a system configuration issue on my end. Please escalate to the anti-cheat engineering team. I have the full .dmp files available if needed.33Views1like1CommentSince Season 3: Still Timing Out + Still 8 Seconds of Map Freeze on Respawn
Since season 3, without fail. I am only allowed to be matchmade ONE MATCH per GAME LAUNCH before the rest of the matchmaking attempts hit me with a time-out. Until I relaunch the game, then it's fine for ONE MATCH again. And even if I do get into a match, boom, 8 seconds of the map freezing on respawn. And PR forum folks, don't tell me of those PR troubleshooting of resetting modem/ONT and such. The fact of the matter is that no other game operates this poorly. Like, EA? If you don't want me to play your game, then I'll just get my refund and be on my merry way.24Views1like2Comments
