So let me get this straight: if I have five friends online, and three of them are in my squad, the other two are just… out of luck? Why? Why is this treated like an unavoidable limitation instead of a feature worth supporting?
Imagine the marketing: “Battlefield 6 - play with ALL of your friends!” But instead we get: “Battlefield 6 - play with some of your friends!”
It’s not just disappointing - it actively hurts anyone trying to build a consistent community. This wasn’t a problem in Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1, or Battlefield V. It only became an issue starting with 2042, and now it’s back again, like it’s somehow acceptable.
Why not expand the party size from four to eight? Why not bring back platoons? Why not at least let us join the same server reliably, even if we’re not in the same squad or even on the same team? The whole point of Battlefield is large-scale warfare with large groups of friends. Restricting that feels completely backwards.
We’re not asking for anything wild - we’re asking for the basic ability to play the game with the people we bought it to play with!
if (friends > 4) {
printf("Sorry, soldier. Battlefield 6 does not support having a social life.\n");
printf("Please reduce your friend count and try again.\n");
} else {
printf("Congrats! You are allowed to enjoy the game as intended.\n");
}
Seems legit!!!!!
