If i enter loadout after getting downed it will break respawn

In regular deathmatch, If I go into loadout screen when im downed it will just get stuck on me on the ground and not let me respawn, sometimes it kicks back in after a while, but usually i have to quit the game to get out if it, it's infuriating and such a dumb bug.
