Incorrect Weapon Switching & Missing Speed Buff upon Stim Usage
Summary
When playing the Assault class and using a Stim, the game automatically switches the player's held item from the Melee weapon (Knife) to the Primary/Secondary weapon. Additionally, the intended movement speed increase from the Stim does not appear to be functioning correctly.
Steps to Reproduce
- Equip the Assault class.
- Switch to your Melee weapon (Knife).
- While sprinting or moving quickly, activate the Stim.
- Observe the weapon swap after the Stim animation completes.
Observed Result
The character automatically draws their firearm after using the Stim, even if the Knife was the active weapon prior to use. Furthermore, there is no noticeable increase in movement velocity during the Stim's active duration.
Expected Result
Weapon Consistency: If a player has their Knife equipped while using a Stim (especially for high-mobility maneuvers), the character should remain on the Knife instead of auto-switching to a gun.
Buff Application: The Stim should provide a distinct and measurable increase in movement speed as per the gadget's description.
Additional Notes
This issue disrupts the "flow" of high-speed Assault gameplay, particularly when trying to close distances or reposition using the Melee movement speed bonus.
