input lagg on mouse button

Hi, i am having an issue where i have bound a keyboard key to a mouse button, for example run key, the game does not register the input it lagss for at least 3 seconds sometimes not at all even after multiple presses, makes the game unplayable, 

using a corsair scimitar elite.

no issues on any other game except battlefield 6.
