While playing on PC I've run across a few instances of dying to claymores that I swear just aren't there on my screen. After the most recent time I managed to clip it and as far as I can tell I die to a claymore that just simply isn't there from my players POV.
Just had the same thing happen to me while playing on PS5. Knew that I didn't see one while running around & checked the clip, sure enough there was no claymore. Have had it happen a few times like you with this last one I remembered to clip after it happened to review to make sure I'm not nuts.

It looks like some kind of desync. But I'm on 1GBit line, 9ms ping to EA servers.

Happened to me a lot this past week. Very, very frustrating! The claymore just appears from the 13th dimension when I run over it and blows me to the afterlife.
As this is open for 3 months now, wouldn't it be time to fix this EA?
i've died 3 times to invisible claymore. I dont see any resolution for this ??!!
It feels like I’m building up 'damage debt' with my claymore kills, and I’m forced to pay it back with my own life. I keep dying to a claymore, only to see in the killfeed that I supposedly tripped over my own. It’s like the game is punishing me for getting kills.
