Invisible shield around objects

There are specific objects that appear to have some kind of shield around them, that do not do any damage to the contact.

Custom weapon drop
I got into a fight, took cover around a custom weapon drop, and even if I would pick-and-shoot, the bullets sent DOWN RANGE, I was an advantage, and would not hit. You could see the bullets ricocheting from something around the structure.

Hole in the ground
I duos, I was in the tank, while my buddy on the ground. The contact was on the ground, in a hole made by something (explosive, custom weapon drop, etc), and he was not taking any damage, as if he was protected. Shot at him 5 times with a tank, and he was not taking any damage. My buddy emptied a 30+ bullet clip from a KORD, and the guy was chilling. Had to get out of the tank, go next to him, and put 4 into him.

The bushes
Bullets ricochet from bushes. What in the John Jones's name is going on?! Why would I need plates when the contact is protected from basic bullets from an SMG or Assault weapon.

Fences are shields for basic bullets and missles
Normal bullets do not pass wire fences, and it is frustrating. Not to mention when they stop a missile sent down range, and the contact walks away. Do some damage, reduce the damage, but don't protect.

I am playing on controller, on a Playstation 5.
