Mini Map View Distance Resets After Each Match.
As the title says, the mini map settings for view distance are reset after each match. They do not get visibly changed in the settings, but are set back to default.
Default view distance on foot is 160m. Setting it to max will only take effect once. Next match you will need to reduce it in the settings, exit the menu, open settings and return it to max in order for it to take effect.
In short, View distance settings only work for a single match. They need to be tweaked every time, even though the settings visibly show it to be correct.
