Mouse Input Not Working for Aiming In-Game

Platform: PC
Issue: Mouse input fails to register for aiming/looking around after spawning in-game, but works fine in menus. Shooting and scoping inputs work, just not aim movement.

I’ve encountered a persistent issue where my mouse doesn’t register movement for aiming or looking around once I spawn in matches. I can navigate menus perfectly, and in-game, I can shoot and scope (e.g., ADS works), but horizontal/vertical aim is completely unresponsive. I’ve recorded a short video showcasing the issue.

Things Tried:

  • Switched input device to Controller and back to Mouse & Keyboard in Options.
  • Disabled overlays (Steam, Discord, EA App).
  • Reset keybindings to default in-game.
  • Deleted PROFSAVE_profile in Documents\Battlefield 6\settings.
  • Tested different USB ports and another mouse.
  • Alt-tabbed in/out during matches.

None resolved the issue. This feels similar to BF2042’s launch input bugs, but I’m hoping for a quick fix or workaround. Any patches planned, or is there a config tweak I’m missing?

System Specs:

  • OS: Windows 11 24H2
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 7700X
  • GPU: RTX 4070TiSuper
  • Mouse: Logitech Pro X Superlight 2

    I second this bug. The only thing I can add is what happened before I started encountering it.

    Driving a tank (17-0 I might add), was blown up by mines, got revived and began having the same symptoms noted in this bug report. I've also tried the same troubleshooting steps with no success. Relaunching game does not correct this, so as of now I can't play.

    • OS: Windows 11 24H2
    • CPU:  i9-9900KF
    • GPU: GeForce RTX 5070
    • Mouse: Logitech G500

    Go to device manager, disable "XBox 360 Controller for Windows" under "XBox 360 Peripherals", reboot.

    Didn't realize my XB One controller was plugged in. It was causing the issue. Once unplugged the issue is no longer present.

    Did this still have errors, disabled all of my controller software and have deleted the settings folder in my documents, still no luck guys this is horrible

    Same error here. Can´t look around. Few games was everything alright now i can´t play.
    Fix it please. Tried everything i found on forums. Game running via Steam.

    I think i found a fix. Went into steam library right click on bf6 then select properties controller disable. Restart steam and game.

    I have the same problem. I have tried the suggested fixes as well as the same things as the OP and still no resolution.

    this is what fixed it for me. my keyboard doesnt light up anymore but until they send a patch out for this bug i really couldn’t care less about my RGB

    Ive tried all of the above fixes as well and it isnt working. Mouse works in menu and can shoot but cannot move it at all in game.
