I'm having this exact issue. It's fine up until I finish a match and then back out to the home screen. After that I can't press anything to start a match whatsoever. The only fix I see is if I have to back out of my game and go to the home screen, I have no choice but to close and re-open my game. It's annoying EA fix it please.
Mine goes all wonky before I even begin a match. I started up the game and all was good, I went to alter my Loadout, once I was done doing that I come back to main screen and multiplayer was no longer accessible. Had to do the same, "close and open game" each time this occured.
