New unlock 'yellow dot' persists due to scope unlock from 'Season 01 Hardware'

Upon unlocking the SU-230 LPVO from the Season 01 Hardware Challenge, the yellow dot from new items persists even if the weapon has all the 'new' tags checked.

As shown in the images, the weapons don't have any new items to check-off but the yellow dot persists through all weapon categories. Originally I was able to remove the yellow dot from the Assault Class but upon relog the yellow dot reappears with nothing new to check.

Also shown in the image, the challenge is complete but the rail cover doesn't seem to have unlocked.

    Yep .. VERY Annoying.  They need a whole rework of this **bleep** system.  There should be a "mark all items as checked", just to clear all the dots out (cuz having a single optic that applies to all the weapons, and having to click through the tree onl every weapon is insane).  IF they persist in this design, then the dots should persist all the way down the tree to the attachment level, versus me having to "find" the new item (sight, muzzle, ammunition, etc).
