Only being able so shoot one bullet right after sliding or jumping

If I run and slide/jump and shortly after I fire my weapon in full auto I can only shoot one bullet even if I hold down my shoot button (R2). Only after I let go of R2 and press it again I can shoot full auto again. Please address this as it's really hard to win gun fights like this. I looked at my controller mapping and nothing gets mixed up between my actions of jumping or sliding and shooting.
