Only my character has a nameplate in squad screen

When you are starting a game, only my character's nameplate shows up, centered on the screen.

Because of this, i have no idea who among my party has made it into the game. This is particularly frustrating given the bug that prevents random members of my party from making it into the game.

So when 3 other characters fill out the squad, they could be bots, my party, or random other players.
