The orange dot that appears to indicate that weapon has a new attachment sometimes does not clear when all new attachments have been viewed. It appears to be that every time a "new" attachment is cleared, a check is done to see if the weapon wide dot should go away. This check appears to also check if there are any camos, charms, or stickers that have not been seen. Viewing the "new" camo, charmm, or sticker clears the marker for that item, but does not update the overall notification for the weapon.
Figured this out after having to clear the "new" notifications for the new universal attachments introduced with the nightfall update. Also would be nice to have a "clear all new" button that gets rid of all of the dots, and make the "new" notification for universal attachments clear for all weapons once it has been viewed on one.
Assault, Carbine, Sniper Rifle, Shotgun, Secondary, Gadget
All have yellow dots that cannot be removed. There's nothing to click inside on most. Some of them say NEW on every gun. And none of it will go away.

Yeah previously the dots would at least go away if I quit and restart the game, now they're staying on no matter what. I'm also getting the "new" on all the weapon packages on guns I've unlocked through the battle pass.
Is anyone going to fix this? It's been a week already. When the game is too annoying to play, I don't play it
Wow! You made it worse today!!! Yellow dots on every gun today. Going through getting rid of them, and now there are even more guns that they won't go away on.
I'm not playing the game again until you fix your this crap!
Been reporting this since launch, yet nothing has changed. Wouldn't expect them to fix it or change it any time soon, feel that the majority of feedback just gets looked over.
Easy option is to implement a 'Clear All' button for clearing all of the dots.
Also asked for them to add a search function to the options menu, yet they haven't. It's just little QoL which can make the whole game significantly better. Again, all of these changes are UI and it's not as if the UI devs are doing much apart from maintaining the store, battle pass and playlist menus.
It get worse with every update, EA clearly dont care,, I have slight ocd and not being able to get rid of the dots frustrats me so much, that I camt play the game for long, EA are killing the game, it had such a strong start, but losing alot of players due to lack of content and not giving us solo and trios on REDSEC, everyone is going back to cod because at least give the players what they want
Yet another update on March 27th...still isn't fixed.
These bugs, along with several others, have led me to pause playing until they're resolved. It's a shame, because I'm sure EA has no interest in shipping a broken experience and that their team is actively working on fixes. Personally, I'm fairly confident that within 4 to 6 months the game will be in a much better place — at this point, given the sheer volume of issues, leveraging AI-assisted development might honestly be the most viable path forward.
