Orange Dot Notifications Will Not Clear
Haven't we all had enough of the endless orange dots in the game? Every mission, every firearm, every season pass level... Even if you patiently click each one to get rid of them, it doesn't matter....

This problem happens a lot with weapon modifications (especially when one of your guns reach 20, 30 and 40 level, which unlocks a new camoflage), checking or equipping these new items doesn't make the yellow dot disappear, it usually requires a full game restart (after making sure that all the new items are checked) to fix.
Even with some trouble the problem can be fixed by players ourselves, however, recently this happened:
Apparently there is zero new item in this section (at least there's no yellow dot), but the tab on top says otherwise. I've clicked and selected every single item I have in this section and restart the game afterward, but it didn't fix the problem like before with those weapon modification and camoflage.
The time that this problem showed up should be the time that I unlocked the wing looking icon (sorry for not knowing the exact English name) selected in the picture, which is an unlockable in the season pass. Is this a universal problem or is it just a glitch with my game or account?

Could we get a single button to clear all "New item" yellow dots in the inventory, season pass etc.? Right now you have to click through every category, every weapon, and every attachment you just unlocked one by one just to remove the icon, and it gets old fast if you play often and keep unlocking new attachments. It has gotten so bad that when I shop for groceries, I half expect I will need to tap every apple and every milk carton one by one just to clear the yellow dot.
The best version would be an optional setting you can toggle on, which adds a "Clear New Icons" button in the inventory menu. Off by default for players who like the reminders, but there for everyone who just wants a clean UI.
I have seen yellow dot markers everywhere, but I have never seen a simple one-click clear option in a multiplayer game. It would be a small QoL feature that makes the UI feel a lot cleaner and less annoying over time.
Is anyone else unable to ignore the fact that there is still something left to click, and ends up doing it for the tenth time today even though you do not actually want to, or is it just me being weird about it?
Does anyone have a better idea for this?
I'd love it if Dice added a "clear all" button. I feel compelled to get rid of the dots ASAP whenever I unlock something, so doing it with a single button would be fantastic.
It'd also be good if it extended to the main menu, since I have to scroll through all the tiles to clear them when it updates. The Battlepass menu is also annoying me a bit at the moment as the dots come back every time I start the game. I completed the pass a while back, so it's a lot of screens to go through constantly.
Personally I don't care.
Feels more like a cheap trick to trap OCD people into spending more time in the game.... Kinda criminal if you think about it to target people with a disorder..

It gets tiring in the long run.
Every little update the game keep marking the old stuff as new, like I already finished the season 1 pass, all the stuff still marked as new.
Season 2 does not fix this bug at all, at least put a mark all new as read botton.

I have the exact same Bug. I unlocked a symbol, but it doesnt show. Restart does not work. I even cannot see what achievment it was.
I dug a little bit, maybe it's the problem with the 511 challenges, one of them unlocks an icon that looks like a F117 (can't be found even when select showing locked items), however the challenges were identified as a bug and taken down just 3 hours after its launch. What if we have that icon unlocked but haven't checked it before EA took it away?🤕

I'm experiencing similar bugs... For example, the "New." icon on all Kord weapons doesn't disappear when I hover over it, and I have a yellow dot that remains on the Scorpion and the Glock even though I've checked everything...
Same here with that 6P67. Also, if you unlock any weapon set like "warfighter" & "unstoppable force" after the mid-season update, the hint will be there too and can't be removed.
My TR-7 and M44 have a permanent yellow dot even after restarting the game. All attachments etc. clicked of course.
Hi, since last update I have that bugs:
Persistent yellow dot on some weapons
No more weapons level in armoury
Kord display new text continuously
I have re installed the game from scratch and cold rebooted my Xbox with no change.

Recently unlocked the M277 Carbine rifle, all the variants in there are showing "New" gone through all the attachments, camo, charms and stickers. Remains even after equipping the weapon

They do nothing but annoy and frustrate everyone, especially people with ocd who want to pull their hair out trying to clear them all which can't be done as they are impossible to clear. Please remove them from the game, we are not stupid, we know when we get new items and atachments. We have eyes.
Agree. I went thru each gun getting rid of the dots for the violet laser, and new lights after the update. Even when the orange dot system works properly, it's just unnecessary. There could also be a button to clear all. Either way I hope its fixed soon.
Agreed - only occurred after the season 2 hardware challenges. Moving forward give us a button to 'CLEAR ALL' which covers messages, gamemodes, challenges, weapons etc - pretty sure I'm not the first person to suggest this...

@EA Is anyone going to fix this? It's been a week already. When the game is too annoying to play, I don't play it.
