Orange Dot Notifications Will Not Clear
Haven't we all had enough of the endless orange dots in the game? Every mission, every firearm, every season pass level... Even if you patiently click each one to get rid of them, it doesn't matter....

This problem happens a lot with weapon modifications (especially when one of your guns reach 20, 30 and 40 level, which unlocks a new camoflage), checking or equipping these new items doesn't make the yellow dot disappear, it usually requires a full game restart (after making sure that all the new items are checked) to fix.
Even with some trouble the problem can be fixed by players ourselves, however, recently this happened:
Apparently there is zero new item in this section (at least there's no yellow dot), but the tab on top says otherwise. I've clicked and selected every single item I have in this section and restart the game afterward, but it didn't fix the problem like before with those weapon modification and camoflage.
The time that this problem showed up should be the time that I unlocked the wing looking icon (sorry for not knowing the exact English name) selected in the picture, which is an unlockable in the season pass. Is this a universal problem or is it just a glitch with my game or account?
The yellow dots for new things are always broken and stuck on everything. They do nothing but annoy and frustrate everyone, especially people with ocd who want to pull their hair out trying to clear them all which can't be done as they are impossible to clear. Please remove them from the game, we are not stupid, we know when we get new items and atachments. We have eyes.
Agree. I went thru each gun getting rid of the dots for the violet laser, and new lights after the update. Even when the orange dot system works properly, it's just unnecessary. There could also be a button to clear all. Either way I hope its fixed soon.
Agreed - only occurred after the season 2 hardware challenges. Moving forward give us a button to 'CLEAR ALL' which covers messages, gamemodes, challenges, weapons etc - pretty sure I'm not the first person to suggest this...

@EA Is anyone going to fix this? It's been a week already. When the game is too annoying to play, I don't play it.
This has been like this since i got the game. i cant stand it, frustrates me more than anything else. i spent 30 mins clearing all the "new" dots. played a couple games and got a laser sight and had to go over them again. this shouldnt be a hard one to fix. sometimes it has cleared with a restart in the past but i feel its worse now. some guns have a dot and once i click to view the gun variants, nothing has a new symbol. ive tried all sorts of fixes but now its beyond my help. PLEASE EA
The implementation of these dots is a great example of incompetence and lack of gaming knowledge for those who decided they "are not important to fix".

Absolutely agree !! We need CLEAR BUTTON like in Apex Legends "Mark all as seen"
Clear button or mark all as seen. is 100% needed. Since the last patch even if i go through every gun, and click on EVERY, SINGLE, ATTACHMENT / CAMO / CHARM / STICKER, the yellow dot will not go away on some weapons. Very frustrating. Even after unlocking different variations of some guns when you get the 'NEW' icon rather than the yellow dot, it will not go away.
