Orange Dot Notifications Will Not Clear
Haven't we all had enough of the endless orange dots in the game? Every mission, every firearm, every season pass level... Even if you patiently click each one to get rid of them, it doesn't matter....

The reddit workaround with the Unfavorite/Favorite works great, except for the following weapons are still stuck regardless. A restart of the game doesn't help either:
Assault Rifle
VCR-2 (Factory)
LMG
M121 A2 (Factory)
Secondary
VZ. 61 (Factory)
Try this:
- Make sure all yellow dots on attachments are gone and no weapon still has a "new" on its custom mastery camos (like unstoppable force etc.)
- Favorite the factory one and another camo of the same weapon
- Restart the game
- Now go to the favorite tab and equip the weapon's factory one there
- Go to the favorites weapon tab and unfavorite all of them with F
- Restart the game
In my case this worked for every weapon, even the stubborn ones.
I was able to clear everything out now by making the weapons that had an orange dot the favorite and then backing out of the weapon selection screen and going back in. I never had to quit out of the game at all. Had to repeat those steps a few times, but finally got everything cleared out.
Definitely a bug with Favorites for sure.
