i have an Orange dot on my Player Card Icon category that won't go away.
I have click on every icon
Closed game out and come back several times
Looked at "hidden" icons (I own them all)
How do I fix this bug?
After purchasing the new CST operator bundle (Peripheral Vision + Covert Trespasser), all of my loadouts across every class now show permanent orange notification dots.

I have opened every item in every loadout, checked every weapon, gadget, skin, and attachment, yet the dots stay. This began immediately after the latest update and the bundle purchase.
Troubleshooting attempted:

The UI constantly indicates false “new items,” making the loadout screen unusable and confusing. This affects every class and every loadout slot.
Expected result:
Loadout tabs should not display notification dots when no new items exist. A “Mark All As Viewed” option or a fix to clear the notification state is needed.

Yes, happens every time the game is launched.
Request:
Please acknowledge this UI bug and provide a fix in the next update or hotfix.
I have the exact same issue, I also went through great lengths to rid myself of the notification dots, and found that even if they disappear from the menu screen, or specific items, they always stay on the "Loadout 1", etc. just like in the post above. I am playing on PC, and did not purchase any bundles or additional content, in case anyone could theorize that to be the cause of the issue.
I also implore you to acknowledge this bug, and fix it!

these notification dots are truly an annoying UI design. so u unlocked something if u skip the match end report, then u are blessed with the opportunity to guess wtf u just unlocked. after the update i unlocked something on the M123K n i went and clicked every attachment, skin, sticker, charm and the orange dot won't go away. it went away after a restart but i spent 5 minutes trying to find something that didn't exist. bf6 has a lot of bugs. it's a great game if they fix them but right now it is a 5/10
Same issue on PC. The orange notification dots are broken because they trigger for every single weapon at once. Even if I clear it on one gun, the dot stays because the attachment is technically "new" for other weapons I haven't even unlocked yet. There really needs to be a "Mark all as read" button or a fix for this progression UI bug.
Just remove the orange dot from the game. If it's never going to work, then why have it in the game?
Same here. So very f*¤%&ing annoying. I have no idea where to find a new unlocked item. It flashes up for 0.5 seconds and then impossible to find in the loadout amidst all the false orange dots. Please improve or just at least just make it work.
I have the exact same problem. Reported it to EA. Seems to be a new bug.

If I log into the EA app version of BF6 the orange dot is gone, correctly. It's only on the Steam version of the game, which is where I actually play the game.
Is there some kind of "sync" file that is corrupted, any way to fix this?
It says I have a "new" Player Card Icon but when I look there is not a "new" one there, but the Orange Dot remains.
Every time I unlock something new the orange dot stays till I restart the game. My friend has a dot that will not disappear in his badges under his profile. Please fix this
New patch, orange icon still there. Why? When I load the game from the EA app it's gone, but when I load from Steam it's back?! Why?

EA is incredibly stupid developers are incapable of doing ANYTHING correctly. To top off their incompetence they can't fix their **bleep** ups either. battlefield was a great game a decade ago, the woke losers that work for EA/DICE these days are completely useless at their jobs and it SHOWS.
It's getting worse everyday since last season, now i have the bug with 2 AR, 1 carbine, 2 LMG, 2 shotguns and 1 pistol ...
The more i unlock things, the more dots accumulate and dont disappear
Orange dots are persistents, saying new attachements/skins/stickers etc ... are available but no ...
It's getting me crazy since i got serious OCD
Please fix it, or remove dots, or add a "clear" button for the love of god ...
On some weapons I have the orange dot or the orange text 'new' constantly showing, allthough i have clicked all attachements, stickers, charms and camos.
It just won't go away.

I have the same on PC, "new" icon persists in multiple places.
Good example is the Icon section of the Profile, as it shows I have no new Icon.
Equipped every single unlocked one, clicked on every icon even locked ones - no result. Multiple restarts, no change.
OK, I know this isn't new, but it is very basic: WHEN are the orange dots in the loadouts going to be fixed? Seriously! Is this not one of the simpler things to fix? We NEVER know what is available where, what upgrade to what weapon, what appearance change to which discipline, which vehicle upgrade, etc.

Annoying as these may be, I will contribute to the ongoing repeated posts about this in order to make EA fix this sooner. The orange dot issue needs to be addressed. Worked well at first now it's broken. We need a clear all option and a fix to prevent the dots from staying even with no "new" attachments showing. This is getting ridiculous.
Flooding their ticket system "in protest" won't help the problem get fixed sooner, it just creates more work for their support agents, slowing down work on other issues.
This still is an issue and it simply can't be this difficult to fix. If it is this difficult then please post a deep dive technical post about the issue as we're all fascinated. Not only do I have orange dots on loads of guns now that I can't clear off, this has been much worse since the latest patch, I've been getting NEW written on every game mode and every section of the main menu UI since launch. It's honestly pathetic that something this simple which is annoying this many players can't be fixed.
