My brother and I are unable to consistently join the same match when playing Battlefield 6 together. After creating a party and starting a game, only one of us successfully joins the match while the other remains in the lobby screen (character standing idle).
We are both playing from the same household on the same internet connection. There doesn’t appear to be a consistent pattern as to which player connects successfully — sometimes one of us gets in, sometimes the other.
Occasionally, we have been able to play a match together if one player stays in the lobby and joins the other’s session after matchmaking begins, but this only works sporadically.
Troubleshooting Performed:
Verified both systems have Open NAT
Enabled and disabled UPnP for testing
Manually forwarded all required ports
Split port forwarding between the two PCs
Checked for Double NAT (none detected)
Despite these steps, the issue persists.

Having the same issue playing on the same household wifi with someone else. We can play in separate parties or solo fine, but only one of us will join when we are in the same party. Very frustrating and cannot find a fix.

Same here, roll the dice if one of us doesn't join

Experiencing the same on Xbox. When we do get it, 99% of the time someone will not get into the following game after the initial one ends too.

Also having these issues with my boyfriend and I currently. We were able to play a couple matches together yesterday then we added an additional person to the party and haven't been able to queue together since. It dice rolls which one of us stays idled while the other one loads into the match perfectly fine. Are there any network/NAT issues I should be looking for or is this something we are just screwed with playing from the same network?

I had a similar problem in Titanfall 2 and I watched the form post for years hoping for a fix and it was never addressed. I hope they address this one.

I am having same issue. Partying with wife on same connection, and it's 50/50 on who gets into the game. Sometimes I am able to enter but then she doesn't get in.... this was happening a bit in Battlefield 2042 as well btw.

For me it often wont work between many matches and when queuing from the main menu it will not actually show that the host is searching for a game just that you are waiting for them to do something.

Having the same issues with my roommate and I who are on the same network. We can get a few games together IF it lets it queue. But after 5-6 games it breaks. Tried everything. Hope it gets fixed.
