Ping on foot or from vehicles not working last 2 updates

Whether on foot or in vehicle marking a location or pinging does work. It appears either behind or directly on me not where the crosshair is. This seemed to break 2 or 3 updates ago. Pretty core gameplay ability to be broken this long.
