Progression of challenges

When trying to progress to unlock the Kord assault rifle in battlefield 6, nothing is tracking or progressing therefore I am unable to unlock what I want. Kind of a core point of the game is to be able to progress and unlock things that you want to use would love for a fix to be rolled out so I can enjoy the game that I purchased.
