Projectile intercept not working?

Hello, im doing the support challenges for the completions stuff. And im running into an issue in the challenge “intercept projectiles with the grenade intercept system”. While i have the gadget down, its destroying the projectiles even giving me accolades for “projectile intercepted” but its not giving me any challenge progress? I’m not sure what to do about this and would love for some guidance or for this to be fixed. Thank you
