Server lag is so bad the game is unplayable

Ever since launch I have had varying performance when it comes to general connection to the official EA servers. Some days I can play the game with very minor issues, but other days like today, the lag is so bad I literally cannot play the game even if I wanted to. 

Constant packet loss/latency warnings in top left of my screen, when I have a 1000 Mbps wired internet connection that handles everything else perfectly. Most days the game runs in complete slowmotion, with people teleporting around the map. The variance is absolutely insane.

I have seen COUNTLESS posts about this on Reddit, but I have yet to see it get addressed by EA. 
I would love to play the Season 1 content when it comes around, but it looks like I have to flip a coin on a day to day basis to see if my the game allows it or not.
