Severe In-Game Sensitivity & Mouse Input
Dear EA Support / Technical Team,
API Bug – Settings Ignored / Inconsistent Input
I am writing to report a critical issue regarding mouse input and in-game sensitivity handling in the game, which renders gameplay practically unplayable.
Problem Description:
Sensitivity Override/Ignored: The game engine frequently ignores in-game mouse sensitivity slider adjustments during live gameplay (both on foot and while piloting vehicles).
Input Inconsistency: The sensitivity behavior dynamically fluctuates, resulting in a "floaty," delayed, or sticky input feel.
Locked Profile Disregard: Even after updating sensitivity values, locking PROFSAVE_profile to Read-Only, and disabling Cloud Sync, the game engine continues to bypass the set sensitivity parameters in real-time.
Exhaustive Troubleshooting Already Completed (Eliminated Local Hardware/OS Issues):
Hardware Verification: Tested across multiple brand-new high-end mice (Logitech, Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro) with identical results.
Clean OS & Drivers: Performed a full clean installation of Windows, display drivers (using DDU), and the EA App.
Storage & Cloud: Deleted setting folders, cleared EA App cache, and completely isolated cloud saves.
Input & Display Optimization: Enforced fixed polling rates, configured on-board memory profiles, optimized GPU Scaling / Display settings, and capped framerates (141 FPS) to rule out CPU frame-time spikes.
Conclusion:
Because the issue persists following a complete system format and across multiple hardware configurations, this is undeniably a low-level engine bug related to the Frostbite Input Simulation API / EA Anti-Cheat input handling rather than a user configuration error.
Please escalate this issue to the technical development team for further investigation in an upcoming patch/hotfix.
Thank you,
Israel
