SG 553R attachment issue

SG 553R carbine rifle won't apply any attachments. Even though they are unlocked and will show the attachment on the gun when selecting the attachment, it'll go back to default afterwards. And in game play, its also in default. Am a Playstation 5 user and haven't come across anyone else experiencing this issue.
