I figured out the issue: it wasn’t a bug in the game. My LT/RT dead zones on the controller were set too high (100), which caused the first shot after sprinting to fire only one bullet. I lowered them to 0, and it fixed the problem completely. Hopefully this helps anyone else running into the same issue!

It didn’t work for me and I even redownloaded the game…. It just started yesterday every other gun fight that is close range I only shoot 1 shot then it goes back to full auto. Let me know if you know any other solutions thank you
