Leeuw, you closed the big thread for missing compensation during the outage. Here you wrote, and I cite:
"Any players who were unable to access any modes have already received the content as per the original post. We’ve now followed up by granting XP Tokens to players who were identified to be impacted in some modes"
So, you are openly saying that we we're impacted aswell, so where is the battle pass compensation? Your team clearly communicated:
"Anyone on the EA app who was impacted will receive 12 Hardware and 12 Career 60-Minute Boosters, ... In addition, we will also be granting impacted players full access to a seasonal Battle Pass". Also as seen on the picture below.

Here is a screengrab on X, where Vince Zampella clearly states, that ANYONE impacted should be compensated. For context: Zampella is currently leading the development of Battlefield.
Vince Zampella statement on compensation is given to anyone impacted.
So, it seems we are acknowledged to be impacted, but somehow we are now deemed to be only partially impacted? Even if we were "partially" impacted, it clearly is communicated by EA AND Zampella that ANYONE impacted should be compensated. What is this gaslightning?
Did some suit boss deem that handing out compensations would ruin their quarterly finance report? And did he forgot to take into account lost profit for people like us, who will not spend a penny due to clearly rug pulling and straight up being untrue to their fans?

Still missing my compensation as well, company and customer service is an absolute joke. 8K comment thread closed after not replying once or interacting with any member of the community regarding the issue. Repeated tweets, emails and direct messages on this platform and X with no response.

I can't help but wonder where Vince went. He seemed really adamant about getting the issue resolved and, bam, no communication yet since then.

Its been 2 months since we heard anything from this post with a similar topic. I wouldn't expect anything if I were you.

That's the topic I am referencing. They simply gave half of the compensation to shut us up and closed the thread when the issue clearly isn't solved.

Same here — I didn’t receive anything, and the big boss closed the thread like a coward. This big corporation of losers and liars is a disgrace.

Same boat as you guys. I checked the other thread and noticed they gave out more 3 days ago.
Yet again I still got nothing. Surely everyone on day one with the game on EA app had this problem?
I did and eventually succumbed to the portal work around but on map launch fell through map and i gave up then.

As I stated in the post, the portal workaround shouldn't close you out from full compensation like Zampella wrote.
It still took me 6 hours of waiting due to missing content bug to play a broken mode with the portal workaround for 30mins before having to end the day.

In the UK we have the Consumer Rights Act 2015, with purchases related digital content legislation, companies must provide what was advertised or promised when a customer makes a purchase. If there is a failure to supply digital goods, rewards, or compensation as explicitly promised, this may constitute a breach of contract or unfair trading. This includes bonus digital items (Battle Passes, XP tokens) that were publicly promised as redress for outages or purchase bugs affecting UK customers.
In the original public apology it mentions those affected by the EA App glitch would get the battlepass as compensation, they cannot publicly make a promise then renege on it because it doesn't suit them, it actually a criminal offence...- Kirk_Kirky22 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer
Do you have an idea how to report this in the UK/EU? I know Canada and USA has the BBB (Better Business Bureau) which, from my knowledge, some people used and actually won the case, since it goes directly to EA and not just stops at their support.

Thank you for posting this up. Agreed. Heck I just want my battlefieldpro items that remained locked and unusable.
