[UPDATE] BF6 - Purchase To Unlock/Not Installed Error & Compensation Update
UPDATE 4, Oct. 17 - EA app Outage In-game Rewards Update We're aware that some players impacted by the EA app outage during the Battlefield 6 launch did not initially receive their in-game rewards. This issue was caused by an error in the rollout process. We've completed a review of the timing and activity in this window and distributed items to players who were initially missed. No further action is needed to receive these rewards. We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we resolved this issue and thank you for playing Battlefield 6. UPDATE 3, Oct. 12 - EA app – Compensation Update Players impacted by yesterday’s EA app outage will now find their XP Boosters delivered to their in-game mailbox and XP Boost inventory. To see your XP Boost inventory, on the main menu, select "Training Grounds" and select "XP Boost" in the top-right menu. Thank you for your patience and understanding! https://x.com/BattlefieldComm/status/1977242087172268060 https://x.com/Battlefield/status/1976804746674815031 From the Battlefield X account: https://x.com/Battlefield/status/1976728927348703540 Update 2 The team is in the process of deploying a resolution for the issue that causes players on the EA App to be unable to start game modes due to missing DLC/content. Players will need to restart the game for this to take effect. We expect this to be completed within the next hour or so and will update when it's done. Installation of Content We're aware of an issue preventing players from accessing the game with some receiving an error stating they need to purchase DLC or similar. Stay tuned for further updates as the team investigates this issue. Thank you for your patience! Originally posted by Battlefield Comms on X. Update: Installation of Content We believe we have found a possible cause for this issue. We are in the process of validating a potential fix and will provide an update when we have it. The targets on the shooting range stop getting back up. I haven't figured out why, but all the targets on the range are bugging out after a few 'kills'. Didn't matter which class or gun I tried. I also figured out that when I turn my back on them and turn around they are standing up for a split second but going down instantly. See the video for reference. I can also provide the raw unedited footage, but it is to big to attach here.1View0likes0CommentsThe game closes and returns to the desktop without error
Before this update, the game was working great and I had no issues. Now, randomly, when I start a multiplayer game, the game crashes and returns to the desktop without any errors. My weapons are still locked even though I've completed the unlock assignments, and I haven't received any compensation for not being able to play on day 1 due to the game not being installed. Now, tell me what to do, because the situation is really frustrating. As for my PC, I have a Ryzen 7 9800x3d and an RTX 4080. What should I do? If I try some workarounds, you'll say I wasn't affected by the problem and that my game never actually crashed? Ridiculous.43Views0likes2Commentssnipers tend to move a bit then you go ads even when holding shift with recon.
So i like playing with snipers, but i noticed i was having a bit of leading a headshot comparing to battlefield 1, V, or 2042. I haven't understand why, but i found that when i go ADS on snipers (and DMR's), Even i was holding Shift( and using Recon) the Aim sight will move a bit, just enough to not land an accurate shot. It takes like a hole second that it will stop moving, witch sound small, but we all know FPS games like battlefield even a 0.5 second delay makes a huge difference. I am pretty sure this bug(?) thing was here since the beta, and i hope you guys fix this soon. :)13Views0likes0CommentsVRAM/Memory Leak
I've already reported the issue, but now it's getting ridiculous. It gets worse with every patch, the performance degradation now it only takes one match EVEN WITH THE TEXTURES SET TO ULTRA/HIGH instead of Overkill. I've tried everything I've read on the official EA Forum or Reddit (i.e. user.cfg, uninstalling HD textures, setting the texture to lower settings,...) but it only makes the issue occur slightly later, and now I need to restart the game AFTER EVERY MATCH in order to have a normal experience just because memory garbage collection works like crap in this game and the devs need to do something about it. Why does the game eat up +8Gb of VRAM IN THE MENU? Why does it reach +10Gb in game if it happens to preload assets in the menu? WHY DOESN'T THE MEMORY CLEAN UP AUTOMATICALLY? Why do I still see +13Gb eaten up by the game when I quit from a match and I sit in the menu? As a die-hard BF fan who has had a wonderful experience in the Beta and in all past games, I'm starting to regret to have trusted you with my money and I know for sure I'm not the only one because of this issue. I play at 1440p with Overkill preset (with lower textures because of the issue) and DLSS set to Quality/Balanced. I have no temp issue whatsoever. This is my setup: CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X3D (watercooled) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 10G (Driver Game Ready - 581.80) RAM: 32Gb at 3200Mhz I'm on the latest BIOS and the game is installed on a Crucial BX500 SSD Thanks.4Views0likes0CommentsBattlefield 6 Multiplayer Map Load Crash - Internal FSR2 Resource Race Condition
When loading certain multiplayer maps, Battlefield 6 crashes consistently with an access violation (0xC0000005) inside ntdll!RtlpWaitOnCriticalSection. The crash stack shows bf6!ffxFsr2ResourceIsNull calling into a critical section that points to a null or invalid memory address (0x24). Crash occurs on worker threads (not main render thread), indicating a race condition or multithreading issue in BF6’s internal FSR2 resource management. System: Intel i5-14400F, NVIDIA RTX 4060, 32GB 3200mhz DDR4 RAM, NVIDIA driver 581.80, 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus Crash bucket ID: {2e3dbfa5-45db-9d81-cb14-a0e213654b79} Reproducible .mdmp files available for analysis. Crash is not caused by user-enabled FSR2 — it occurs in BF6’s internal FSR2 resource checks. Crash does not appear to be GPU-driver related, as it occurs on the latest NVIDIA driver (581.80) with all upscaling disabled. Multiple .mdmp files collected demonstrating consistent behavior. Game has been re-installed, repaired, PC has been reset, EA Javelin has been repaired.11Views0likes0CommentsGame crashes when trying to join on some maps
For about 2 weeks everything was fine. Sometimes it would crash during loading, but nothing that was too disruptive. Since yesterday, joining a game takes longer and longer because the game crashes for me every single time it finds a match. This happens most often when I choose any map other than "New Sobek City" and "Liberation Peak" "Operation Firestorm". I can't get into the others; those ones work, but it's a bit tedious to only play on 2 or 3. I'll add that when the game crashes, there is no message, it just disappears and the EA app appears, that's it. Tried to: - repair game via EA App - nothing changed - Update graphics card drivers - nothing changed - Change to fullscreen/borderless - no effect9Views0likes0Comments
