Thumb stick menu drift

While navigating menus I have noticed that my thumb sticks do not work as intended. While my left thumb seems to work fine navigating the menus. My right thumb is wonky if I try to navigate left or down with the right thumb it acts super sensitive immediately jumping through selections at the slightest touch while if I try to navigate right or up nothing happens until I reach maximum input. This is on PS5 same results on three different controllers and all three controllers  seemingly work properly during game play and in other games and their menus.  I have asked others and the seem to have a similar issue with the thumb stick on the dual sense controller while navigating menus and the map.
