Unable to change or modify weapons/ equipment on private servers

I don’t know if it’s a me error or if anyone else has experienced this but, whenever I play on a private server with a password I can’t modify my main weapon or change my secondary weapon. However i can change primary weapons but not modify them from what was set prior to entering the server. The secondary weapon cannot be changed or modified from what was already set before entering the server. The same thing applies to equipment, however this only happens if i use a password on the private server. I can have the same settings and everything is 100% the same except the password on a private server and I don’t have this issue. Is this just a me thing or something that was intended?
