In the beginning I found the game very difficult. I did not game in a long time, but I always liked Battlefield back in the days. My settings were off and it took me weeks to get them right. Casual mode was really nice for me because I could practice, get my settings right, and simply enjoy the game again. I am now 100 hours into the game, which is a big investment for someone who works and has kids. Also, it took a lot of time to get my settings right and get better at the game. I did this 80 percent of the time in Casual mode, and it encouraged me to see my stats getting better. So before somebody says "Good for farmers", I do not care about farming. I never played Portal, only the official modes, and now I am being punished for it. It is impossible to get my stats back up if you played 80 percent Casual. At this point it feels easier to quit the game than to try to recover from this. thanks EA.

That is incorrect.
The developers already announced that they will have a separate section for Bot kills information.
Bot kills do not have place in official playlist stats.
The problem is that after removing the kills they forgot to remove the deaths which affected every player.- MojoBlazin1 month agoSeasoned Newcomer
Even worse, any BF6 lobby that has bots no kills are counting, not even against real players, but all deaths are counting. Anyone playing a lobby backfilled with bots is just destroying their KD.

I think Split62 is referring to player kills in casual breakthrough not counting to K. It's inconsistent, some people are reporting player kills in casual breakthrough don't increase kill on profile, others say it does. Have seen reports of the core modes player kills not counting.
There are multiple reports of inconsistencies between tracker.gg player k/d and profile k/d.
What they should probably do is completely remove portal bot backfill game and casual breakthrough game stats from the PVP side of things. Bot kills in core game mode should just count as player kills.
Then you have a PVP mode stats (core game modes). and PVPVE mode stats (casual and portal bot backfill).
Portal PVP, well I don't know, maybe lump it in with PVP mode stats. But Portal farm servers with bot controller humans are a thing so if you do that you're just going to be seeing farmed stats at the top of the leaderboards again.

Exactly, that is how it was before and that is totally fair. They can just not start the game until enough players join too, The way they have it now is just punishing players for playing the game the way they designed it.
