It might not just be casual breakthrough. It seems any match that is populated with any number of bots, even if it's not a bot mode, disregards all kills but counts death. I play in Australia after 10pm and am constantly loaded into servers with the minimum number of players and back-filled with bots, and even when I kill humans they don't count, but the deaths sure do. I understand not counting stats on Portal bot farms, but official servers? Against human players? I'm 170 hours in now and I feel like I wasted a bunch of that time doing the insane challenges and unlocking the same set of attachments over and over for different weapons. Grinding without reward is very discouraging.
