I’m reporting an ongoing issue with Battlefield 6’s challenge and assignment system.
I’ve completed the Bullet Storm 1 challenge, and it shows as completed in the menu, but the KTS-100 weapon that should unlock from it is still locked and unusable.
This isn’t just happening to me. Many players across Reddit, Steam, and the EA forums are reporting the same issue — challenges and assignments show as completed but do not unlock their rewards.
Common problems people have reported:
Completed challenges not granting weapons or rewards.
Progress tracking not working correctly or resetting.
Challenges reappearing after being finished.
Visual and UI bugs in the assignments menu (missing icons, flickering, floating models).
I’ve personally tried several fixes:
Restarting the game and PC.
Playing additional matches afterward.
Verifying game files.
Refreshing the challenges tab and switching loadouts.
None of these steps fixed the issue. The challenge remains completed, but the weapon stays locked.
This has been ongoing for over a week now and seems to affect a large portion of the community. It’s making progression through the challenge system unreliable and frustrating.
Please pass this to the Battlefield 6 QA or development team. The issue needs investigation or a public acknowledgment since many players can’t unlock weapons they’ve earned.

I have this same issue with the Assault 1 challenge. I am now unable to finish Assault 2 since it requires the Redeploy Beacon I cannot equip.
I have the exact same issue with Assault 1 not unlocking the Redeploy Beacon, kinda frustrating hey.
I have the same issue with multiple assignments for multiple days. Things remain locked. They don't even answer about this and there's multiple people having the same issue
Same here. Multiple weapons and equipment not unlocking despite having finished the challenges. It's aggravating AF. Sent several emails to support, not one answer. The "My Cases" page doesn't even load. Been like this for well over a week. Haven't seen any official word on this anywhere, and there are ALOT of people with these issues.
Samething is happening to me with same gun and the carbines
Same thing here, I was supposed to take out two more enemies while they were concussed but then the next day it was finished cuz it was lowered yet I don't have my frontliner nor my assault medal. Makes me almost not want to bother playing or trying. This should be an easy fix not take weeks. Can you move more team members from the Battle royal to focus on the paid game please
I unlock Beacon, SG553R and SCW 10 in challenges its unlock in loadouts its lock.
Engineer complete but locked, unable to use the skin, badge etc. Weapon challenges completed but locked as well. Had to buy a bundle to unlock the weapon I should of gained from the challenge.
Been dealing w this for over a week now missing multiple weapons such as the SL-9 and SG 553R and all trouble shooting methods failed. Honestly ridiculous I’m gonna ask for a refund soon if I am not helped
Same, have this for EVERY weapon challenge, the 3rd Assualt rifle completed but won't unlock, then the same for the 1st LMG, SMG, DMR AND Sniper challenge.

I contacted support about 5 days ago, and they were very helpfull, but replying in a eay that didnt make sense... " everything on their side is well documented" which i dont fully understand at the age of 48 🤣 i did expect a "solution oriented" midset from proffrseionals.
But nevertheless, i removed the game from console, cleared the cache, and the reinstalled the game. Didnt solve the issues.
After the update yesterday i experienced the same issues where challenges appear completed while being ingame, at the time of entering a server/game session, then completing the match, but no rewards still.
"Close quarters" 1 is long done and the SCW-10 should unlock, but doesnt. I continue to play and "close quarters 2" completes and im rewarded with the SL9 SMG,
Assuming that everything is well backed and documented on EA's sideas mentioned by support is leaving us in a void based on a mindset focused on anything but a solution to the fix
I recommend they get their priorities sorted and perhaps even another lead
