Kills or assists with engineer weekly challenge not tracking

I got a weekly challenge for 20 "Kills or Assists with Sniper Rifles." and it also does not progress at all. So I think the "Get X kills or assist with X" challenges are bugged if you guys are having the issue with engineer.
