Wood Plank Survives Bullets but Breaks from a Melee Hit

Hello BF6 dev team,

Please take a moment to check this video first:

We would like to highlight a gameplay issue that many players are currently complaining about, as it feels physically inconsistent and breaks immersion.

In the game, there is a wooden plank that does not break when shot with firearms, yet it breaks instantly when hit with a simple elbow or melee attack. This behavior makes little sense from both a realism and gameplay perspective.

Logically, a bullet should have far greater destructive power than a melee hit. At the moment, it feels like gunfire has little to no interaction with certain destructible objects, while melee attacks somehow deal more damage. This is confusing and frustrating for players.

This inconsistency breaks immersion, feels unintuitive during combat, and leads to frustration when players try to clear paths or destroy obstacles using their weapons.

Players are not complaining without reason. These reactions come from a clear lack of coherence between physics, realism, and player expectations.

Adjusting this behavior so that bullets properly damage or destroy wooden objects, and melee attacks feel logically weaker against solid materials, would greatly improve realism and the overall gameplay flow

Thank you for your work on BF6. Small details like this make a significant difference in the player experience.

Best regards,
