There's not enough players for BR. Apparently there is however Gauntlet servers. The main multiplayer has tons of players but the matchmaker constantly splits apart the playerbase into separate servers.

there are enough players - the problem is we’re getting routed to EU too fast so its make users believe there are no servers and they never queue BR again. Really silly change by Dice
