🛠️ F1 25 Career/Gameplay Issues and Bug Reports

Hello everyone, hello EA_Groguet

I'd like to report a few issues and suggest improvements for realism, primarily experienced in Driver Career Mode (but likely applicable to My Team as well).

1. Abu Dhabi Race - Day/Night Transition Missing (50% Races)

In 50% length races at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the day-to-night transition does not seem to occur, remaining in a static daytime setting.

The transition works correctly in 100% length races.

This significantly impacts the visual experience and atmosphere of the race at the shortened distance.

2. Full Qualifying - AI Second Run Pace

During Full Qualifying sessions (Q1, Q2, and Q3), the AI drivers struggle significantly to improve their lap times on their second attempts within each segment.

In most real-life scenarios, drivers usually manage to find more pace or at least match their initial time on a second push lap. In the game, the second attempt is very rarely an improvement on the first, which feels quite unrealistic and removes a layer of competitive challenge.

3. Driver Career Mode - Lack of Mechanical Failures

In Driver Career Mode (and possibly My Team), the player's car seems immune to mechanical failures.

I completed an entire season with Alpine, pushing the engine components, and did not experience a single engine-related DNF, which should be a realistic risk, especially for components reaching high wear levels.

4. Driver Career Mode - Engine Component Wear Rate (Alpine)

Specifically playing with Alpine, the wear rate of the Power Unit components is extremely low.

I found myself barely needing to introduce the 4th (and final) set of components for some parts late in the championship, suggesting the wear model for some teams might be too forgiving or incorrectly calibrated.

5. Driver Career Mode - Park Fermé Engine Penalties Bug

There appears to be an issue with how grid penalties are applied when changing engine components in a Park Fermé state (e.g., after qualifying).

Example: After taking pole position in Mexico, I changed a component (specifically the Energy Store/Battery), which should result in a 10-place grid penalty. However, I was immediately sent to the very back of the grid (last place) instead of receiving the correct 10-place penalty.

I hope this feedback is helpful for addressing these aspects and improving the realism of the Career Mode experience.

Thank you.
