Playing My Team on PS5, the lights on the back of AI cars never flash during the race or indicate they are harvesting energy. It's almost as though they constantly have full battery, which would explain why they are so fast on the straights.
During practice or qualifying, they can be seen harvesting energy on out laps but never during the race. They just seem to have unlimited ERS and use it throughout the whole lap without any restriction.
