I started a career in f2 and noticed for the sprint races the ai all started on softer compound tyres instead of hard compound like they would usually do in real life. Happens in Grand Prix mode also...

Yeah im 3 races into my f2 career and have noticed the same thing. Weekend Tyre allocation is 3 medium & 2 supersoft. Use one medium for practice, one supersoft for qualifying. Then the game suggests and ai use last supersoft for the sprint leaving two new medium and a used set of supers for the feature.
